Old South Golf Links
We played Old South Golf Links the other day after some heavy rain. The course was in surprisingly good shape considering all things. Even though it was cart path only, it is a very enjoyable track. Every hole seems to be unique. There are some very straight away holes and some holes that require you to hit over some wetland to a landing area and then over some more wetland to the green. There are dog legs left and right, some long par 5’s and even an island green.
For a resort course that gets a lot of daily play, it is in very good condition, which is a tribute to their grounds crew. They offer some packages that include golf and lunch.
