Hilton Head Airport is located mid-island on Hilton Head. There are several flights a day to Charlotte, N.C. via U.S. Airways. The terminal at Hilton Head Airport was just rebuilt to accommodate the increase in flights and passengers. There’s plenty of parking at a reasonable rate or you can rent a car from one of the many car rentals businesses. There is a separate terminal that caters to the small private planes with many of the same services as the main terminal. It may cost a little more to fly directly into Hilton Head Island airport, but sometimes it is worth the price in convenience and time. More Hilton Head Island Activities
