Denise & Kids Return to Hilton Head Island

We have visited Hilton Head many times. My husband and I spent our honeymoon here 24 years ago. My husband passed away 2 years ago and this is our kids and my first time here without him. You have made the condo very comfortable and we did enjoy our stay. Thanks so much for the work that you guys do!

Hilton Head Island’s 27th Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament

Every year you can find a great mix of locals, guests and celebrities on Hilton Head Island area golf courses. All are here to have fun, see old friends and make new ones, all while raising funds for 18 local children’s charities. To date, this event has raised over $2,785,000.00.

This year’s events, all with 9:00 am shot gun starts, kicks off Friday August 31 at the Golf Club at Indigo Run. On Saturday September 1 the tournament will make a stop
at the Robert Trent Jones Course at Palmetto Dunes. To cap the weekend off, all will head once again to the Harbour Town Golf Links at the Sea Pines Resort.

This year’s celebrities will include sports figures, broadcasters and actors. Also playing this year will be service members from the Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort, SC who have recently served in Iraq and FDNY Firefighters Steve Rogers, John McConnachie, Danny Keane, Pat Zoda and Ed Fahey. Their Fire Company was featured in the world-renowned film documentary “9/11″.

The Old Fort Pub has added more seating and ceiling fans to their outdoor seating area to relax and enjoy one of the best views on Hilton Head Island. Hilton Head Island welcomes Hootie and the BlowfishHilton Head Island welcomes the return of Hootie and the Blowfish to perform at the scenic Honey Horn on Friday, August 10th. The gates open at 6:00 p.m. General Admission seats are $30, Reserved seating $50 or Table seating at $75. Tickets can be purchased online at Etix.com or call (800) 514-3849.

Hootie and the Blowfish is an American pop-rock band that was originally formed in 1989 at the University of South Carolina. Visit the Hootie and the Blowfish website and sample a variety of their music, videos and photos.
